Welcome to The Boarding Schools' Association’s Book of Remembrance

Boarding School Book of Remembrance

On Monday, September 2, 2025, the Boarding Schools' Association (BSA) reaches its 60th anniversary year, the same day as the 80th anniversary of the end of WW2. To mark both events, BSA has launched (on that day) this Boarding Book of Remembrance (BOBOR): an on-line record of any pupil or staff member who died in conflict. While many records will centre on WW1 and 2, it also includes alumni from battles such as Trafalgar or Waterloo, and also from later conflicts.

To use this record, either browse for your school in the School Rolls of Honour, or find it on the Map, or browse through the entire records alphabetically within the A-Z Roll of Honour. You may also use the search tool at the top of the page.
